Agricultural Extension work continues

A follow-up Blacksmithing course for 8 farmers was run at Hlekweni as part of the European Union livelihoods programme and was felt to be very successful by those involved despite difficulties in obtaining materials in time. Further sessions are planned subject to funding.

Seed was delivered to farmers in Kezi, Plumtree and Gwanda. Much of it has not germinated despite adequate rain.

Workshops on small livestock (goats) have continued and will be followed by workshops on indigenous chickens.
