New funding for Samathonga feeding scheme

There was great relief in March when it was confirmed that Quaker Peace and Social Witness (UK) were willing to provide the major part of funds needed to run the Samathonga Primary School feeding scheme over the next three years. The school itself supplements the scheme by growing food from its two drip irrigation plots. The recently formed satellite primary school (? Makandla) also benefits from the scheme
