June 2-4, 2006 - The Quaker Initiative to End Torture (QUIT) is planning a conference on torture, at Guilford College in North Carolina. "It is our hope that a well-planned conference can inform without over-whelming and develop a wide variety of actions towards changing laws/policies and rehabilitation for both survivors and perpetrators."
