On this page are descriptions of Quaker individuals,� monthly meetings, and organizations that are involved with Afghanistan.

American Friends Service Committee: they are in the process of designing a three year relief program, and at present have two staff persons working on this: Leila Richards who travels between Afghanistan and the U.S., and Hadi Azimi who lives in Kabul.� They are actively seeking support for their Afghan Relief Fund.� All profits from Os Cresson�s book are designated for this fund.
Friends Afghan Concern: we are trying to support and coordinate the efforts of Quakers and nonQuakers who are concerned about Afghanistan.
Friends Committee on National Legislation: they have a section of their website that contains documents their staff have prepared about alternatives to violence in Afghanistan.
Medford Leas Support for Afghan Children: this recently formed group of retirees is interested in establishing a relationship with a school or school district in Afghanistan.� The chair of this group is Os Cresson.
