DECEMBER 23RD MEETING CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

We will gather at 10am at Quaker Heights to provide a meeting for worship that includes carol singing and readings, followed by our own Meeting for Worship.
Following our 10:45 Meeting for Worship, we will have a light carry-in luncheon and Christmas program in the Red Brick Meetinghouse. Worship and the program were well attended. It was good to see members and friends that we have not seen in a while.

Meeting for Worship with attention to Business will be at 9:30am on Sunday, November 4th. Our Carry-In Luncheon will follow Meeting for Worship.

DECEMBER 23RD QUAKER HEIGHTS WORSHIP

We will gather at Quaker Heights at 10am for our bi-monthly worship to the residents and staff of Quaker Heights. Please come and lend your voices to the singing when we gather at Quaker Heights.

PAUL BUCKLEY SHARED AT FIRST DAY SCHOOL

Paul Buckley visited Miami Friends as part of his traveling ministry amoung Friends, sharing his message on the need for Quaker Revival with readings from his translation of William Penn's Primitive Christianity Revived and his book, Primitive Quakerism Revived.

ANNUAL FORT ANCIENT WORSHIP AND PICNIC

Our annual worship and picnic at Fort Ancient was Sunday July 15th. We gathered at 10am for worship and the picnic followed in the pavilion. Thos who missed out on this annual event this year are invited to join us on Sunday July 14th, 2019.

On June 3rd, the Meeting hosted a baby shower for Kaitlin Morrison. Her daughter, Frances Lee Morrison, was born on August 10th. Friends joyously welcome Frances into the world.

2018 STATE OF THE SOCIETY REPORT

Miami's State of the Meeting Report was completed and submitted to Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting in April. You are welcome to read the report, which can be accessed by the link in this article.

OCTOBER 8th ROAD TRIP TO CAESAR'S CREEK

Friends traveled to Caesar's Creek historic Quaker burial ground for a tour with a visit to the Caesar's Creek Meetinghouse now located in Pioneer Village.

DOCUMENTARY ON MIAMI'S HISTORY

The documentary film of the History of Miami Monthly Meeting is scheduled for its initial screen at 9:30am, September 4th, at the White Brick Meetinghouse, 169 S. 4th Street, Waynesville, OH 45068. The film will eventually be entered into Ohio's History Archives.

MIAMI MEETING INCLUDED IN LOVE AMID THE RUINS DOCUMENTARY

Part of the AFSC documentary Love Amid the Ruins was filed at Miami Monthly Meeting and can be viewed at about 3 minutes and 50 seconds into the film.
