Quaker Meetings in Central New Jersey

Directions:

Heading north on Route 70 (becomes Route 35 after crossing Manasquan River), look for traffic circle at intersection of Route 524-Spur. Go half way around circle and continue on 35 north, passing by the meetinghouse on right. At first intersection, make a right onto what is variously called Meetinghouse Road or Brielle Road Go up small hill to the meetinghouse on the right.

Heading east on Route I-195 (becomes Route 138 after passing Garden State Parkway), watch for signs that say Route 35 and Sea Girt. Proceed south on Route 35. Continue about 3 miles to Sea Girt Avenue traffic light. Between the light and the upcoming circle, there is an intersection (by a small shopping center) for what is variously called Meetinghouse Road or Brielle Road Turn left on Meeting House Road and up small hill to the meetinghouse on the right.

Heading south on Route 35, proceed to Sea Girt Avenue traffic light.

Directions:

From Route 1 or the NJ Turnpike (Exit 9), take Route 18 north. About 1/2 mile beyond first traffic light watch for sign to George St. Take right hand ramp, left over highway and go to second traffic light on George St. Turn left on Nichol Avenue Go south six blocks to Hale St. and the meetinghouse.

From Route 27, take Route 18 south to Commercial Avenue Turn right and go six blocks on Commercial Avenue to Hale St., then left two blocks to Nichol Avenue Find parking on Hale or other side streets.

Directions:

From Route 22, head south on Watchung Avenue approximately one mile. The meetinghouse is on the left next to the post office and across from the train station at Third St.

From the south, take Park Avenue to West 7th Street, turn right. Go to the Watchung Avenue five-point intersection. Turn left, north, on Watchung under railroad overpass to the meetinghouse on the right.

Directions:

The meetinghouse is about one mile south of Red Bank.

From the Garden State Parkway, take Exit 109. Go east on Newman Springs Road to Route 35. Then turn right and go south on Route 35 (Broad St.) to Sycamore Avenue The meetinghouse is on left.

As an alternate from Garden State Parkway, take Exit 105. Go east on Route 36 (Eatontown Spur) to Route 35. Then turn left and go north on Route 35 (Broad St.) to Sycamore Avenue The meetinghouse is on Sycamore to the right.

Directions:

Heading west on Route 24, go 5 and 1/2 miles from Morristown Sq. to Cherry Lane. Turn right and go 1/2 mile north to Main St. Brookside Community Club is on the near right corner.

Heading east on Route 24 from Chester Village, go 5 miles to the center of Mendham and an additional one and 1/4 miles to Cherry Lane. Turn left and go north 1/2 mile to Brookside Club.
