Twenty five Friends met at the home of Ruth and Bruce Hawkins, 61 Henshaw Ave, Northampton, at 7:30 P.M. Teddy Milne agreed to preside, and Bruce Hawkins to take notes. After a brief period of worship, a long discussion followed in which many Friends expressed a longing for a closer community than a Meeting the size of Mt. Toby is able to provide, and excitement at the prospect.
Friends agreed to begin worshiping together in March and evaluate the experience at the end of May. Friends also agreed that it is premature to consider ownership of a Meetinghouse at this time.March 13, 2001
A site committee composed of Katya O'Kane and Eleanor Warnock will report to a potluck meeting at Katya and Darien's home (51 Pilgrim Drive) at 6:30 Friday February 22, at which time the exact date of our first meeting will be set. All interested Friends are invited to attend.
Friends agreed that we should worship together every week at 11 AM, preceded by adult education at 9:30, and that child care will be provided by two persons each week, each person to serve for two weeks staggered so that there is a new person each week with one who has served the previous week.
