An Outreach Ministry of North Carolina Yearly Meeting of Friends

NC Friends DisasteR Service

The NCFDS was established in 1992 in response to destruction and despair of Hurricane Andrew.  Since then, this outreach ministry has striven to respond wherever disaster, in any form has stricken.

From the bayous of Louisiana to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, from the prairies of Kansas to the mountainsides of the Appalachians, to the suburbs of Miami, the North Carolina Friends Disaster Service (NCFDS) has labored to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of its neighbors.  Come join us!  All that is required is a willingness to labor in the service of the Lord and for the assistance of our neighbors.
