In simple, lay language, this book shows how the world economy evolved during the twentieth century, setting the stage for further globalization in the twenty-first. But come even if you do not have time to read the book. The film based on this book was shown earlier this year on PBS and will be shown again at this conference. The book is widely available through bookstores, and the book and three-part video are both available from Station WGBH Boston Video at 1-800-949-8760.
