About Quakers

The official name of our denomination is the Religious Society of Friends. We also refer to ourselves as "Friends" or "Quakers." Two things make us unique among Protestant denominations: our traditional style of worship, and our group method of making decisions. Quakers believe that every person can learn to hear God's prompting and to live by it.

We know that people of all ages, races, and sexual orientations are equal before God and we believe that all should be treated equally and fairly by society.

About Broadmead Friends Meeting

Broadmead Friends gather in three different locations for worship most Sundays. We do this because our group is spread out almost 70 miles along Route I-75 from Toledo to Bluffton. The whole group meets once a month on the third Sunday for worship, a potluck lunch, and a program, discussion, or business meeting. You are always welcome to join any of our gatherings. Click a link to go to information on one of the small groups or go to the calendar for the location and program for the larger monthly gatherings.
