The Council
The governing body of QCEA meets twice a year to establish policy. It is composed of appointed representatives from Belgium and Luxembourg MM, Britain Yearly Meeting, Denmark Yearly Meeting, France Yearly Meeting, German Yearly Meeting, Ireland Yearly Meeting, Norway Yearly Meeting, Sweden Yearly Meeting, Switzerland Yearly Meeting, the European and Middle East Section of FWCC, European and Middle East Young Friends, the QCEA British Committee and the Vereniging van Vrienden van de Quaker Raad voor Europese Aangelegenheden (VVQREA).
The Clerk is Bert Touwen (Member of Netherlands Yearly Meeting). The Assistant Clerk is Judith Kirton-Darling (Member of Belgium and Luxembourg MM). Both are appointed in their own right to these offices and not as representatives of their respective Meetings.
The British Committee The British Committe exists to promote the work of QCEA among Friends in Britain Yearly Meeting. It organises meetings, provides information about the work of QCEA and seeks to raise money from Friends, Trusts and other interested sources.
