2011 Revised Version - Drafts
Dear Friends,
Attached below is a pdf file for what we hope is the final
draft of a new edition of Lake Erie Yearly Meeting Policies
and Procedures. The ad hoc committee that has prepared this
edition expects to take this draft for consideration at
Annual Sessions later this month. An earlier draft was
circulated to meetings and worship groups as well as the
Executive Committee in February, with an invitation to
"explore it, test it, and think about how it might be
improved." The original deadline was shortly before
Representative Meeting, but at that session the deadline
was extended to June 1, and printed copies of the new
edition were distributed to monthly meetings. Subsequently
many helpful suggestions arrived, and the ad hoc committee
has incorporated most of them; in addition, another
appendix was inserted and the index was expanded
considerably.
Although not every small adjustment is marked in this
draft, red type indicates all corrections, substantive
changes, and additions. Any remaining errors found herein
should be communicated to Jeff Cooper
(cooperdaub@hotmail.com) before the start of Annual
Sessions. With gratitude to all Friends who shared their
