OLD KENNETT MEETING, at the entrance of Kendal, a Quaker-sponsored retirement community near Longwood Gardens, is open for summer meetings, weddings, and historic events. It is an important historic link with a rich Quaker heritage. Its quiet presence is a distinct contrast to the present active Kendal community. Old Kennett is under the care of Kennett Meeting.
