FRIENDS CONFERENCE ON RELIGION AND PSYCHOLOGY

General Information

WHEN:

Begins: Friday evening, May 27 with dinner at 6 PM, followed by the first Plenary Session at 7:30 PM
Ends: Monday, May 30 with the closing ceremony, followed by lunch at 12:30 PM

WHERE:

Mund Center will be closed this year.

Registration on Friday will be in the Miller Chapel Narthex (entrance hall).

We will be using the same dormitories and other buildings for Interest Groups.

Plenary sessions, Meetings for Worship, and the Sunday Evening Talent Show will all be held in Miller Chapel 101, a lecture hall.

Meals will be served under canvas, in a sturdy banquet-style tent set up in the parking lot behind Mary Green dormitory.

FEES:

$335 Double Occupancy
$385 Single Occupancy

Fee covers three nights lodging, all meals, and attendance at all activities.

Bring your own bedding & linens [sheets, blanket, pillow, pillowcase, and towels] to reduce fees by $15.

$205 Commuter with lunch and dinner

All double occupancy rooms will be in Silver Dormitory. Single occupancy rooms will be in both Silver and Dellinger Dormitories.

Silver has shared baths at the end of the hall on each floor. There is no elevator. Rooms on the first floor are wheelchair accessible.

Dellinger consists of suites of four single rooms sharing a bath. There is an elevator. If possible, we will assign no more than three persons to a suite.

SCHOLARSHIP:

Requests for financial assistance should be made by e-mail to the Registrar before completing the Registration Form. Requests are strictly confidential.
Scholarship recipients may be asked to assist with chores during the conference.

Please contribute any additional amount you can to defray conference expenses and allow us to continue offering scholarships.
Contributions are tax deductible.

MEMBERSHIP:

You become a member of FCRP when you register.

Membership gives you year-round borrowing privileges from the Dora Wilson Collection and the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Library,
as well as web access to audio files of past year’s speakers.

You can stay on our mailing list and maintain membership in FCRP if you don’t attend by registering for “Membership only” and paying a $15 fee.

THE DORA WILLSON LIBRARY:

Your FCRP membership entitles you to borrow books, audio tapes and CDs from the Dora Willson Collection, now part of the PYM Library.
Selected books will be available for borrowing at the Conference. Others can be ordered from the PYM library. Contact:

REGISTRATION:

Deadline: Friday, May 20
To register after May 20, contact the Registrar.

There is no registration at the door.

Cancellations:
If you cancel before the registration deadline, all but your $15 membership fee will be returned.
After that date refunds will be at the discretion of the Registrar.

OTHER MATTERS:

If you need physical assistance, please contact the Registrar before the Conference.

If you fail to return your room key, you will be asked to pay the $30 fine charged by the college.

FCRP cannot be responsible for personal property.
